An exciting game with eight goals gave the home team three points. Torquay were shaky in defence but going forward there was some class shown, especially by Elliot Benyon who finished is goal with a cheeky backheel.

Torquay were drawn away against Cheltenham in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy. The game will be played in the first week of September.

Mark Ellis and Steve Adams have both gone on loan at Forest Green Rovers this week. The duo have signed for one month at the Conference side.

Finally, it is currently Burton Albion 0 Torquay United 2 in the 65th minute at the Pirelli Stadium. More information in the match report tommorow.
