Knill Confident Of Cheltenham Win

Alan Knill has said he's very confident that we can take all three points from the Cheltenham game tomorrow, but we will have to be at our best.

Speaking to the Official Site Knill talked about our progress, and our problems this season so far, because the only day that really had him fuming was our performance against Fleetwood a fortnight ago.

Out side of that 4-1 thumping, he's been relatively pleased with our performance levels, to the point where he believes we have lost and drawn games that we should've taken maximum points from, and he believes our performance against Rochdale last week is a case in point where we just need that touch of luck, 5% more confidence and belief, and that would've been all it took to secure a different result.

Ultimately, play like that, click up front, and he believes we'll come out of the game with a point.

'We know our performance at Fleetwood wasn't up to standard, but, last week, we played pretty well and deserved to come away with something. We're always disappointed when we don't take any points but if you perform as well as we did at Rochdale, points will eventually come. We looked like a proper team and we want to show that again.'

Knill adds that the good performance at home is key for both the club and the fans, and we've got to have a good solid home record if we want to achieve anything in the league.

We've only lost once on home soil so far this campaign, but it's definitely time to try and get our first three points and start making Plainmoor a very difficult place to come, and he's hoping that begins with Cheltenham tomorrow.
