Knill - A Classic Game Of Two Halves

Knill - A Classic Game Of Two Halves

Speaking to the official site following our one all draw with Morecambe yesterday, Alan Knill has admitted it really was a game of two halves and he has good and bad to take from it.

'It was a decent result, especially considering our first half performance, which wasn't up to the standard we expect. We can make some excuses but if we're honest, we all know it wasn't acceptable. We were so much better in the second half and it really was one of those games of two halves. We got back level with a great finish.'

Knill says that come half time he was thankful we were only 1-0 down as it gave us a chance and he honestly thought Morecambe were going to grab a second, but thankfully the team responded in the second 45 and we salvaged a point from the match.
