Benyon Agrees Two Year Deal

Benyon Agrees Two Year Deal

Elliot Benyon has agreed a two year deal at Torquay.

The striker was with us between 2007-11 and he got a high profile move to Swindon following his form and performances for us, but sadly the move didn't work out.

His loan spell back with us last season more than convinced Alan Knill to add him to the squad for the coming season.

Speaking to the Official Site the gaffer said of his permanent return.

'He was brilliant at the end of the season and I think everyone saw that the longer he was here, the better he became and the fitter he became. The goals then started to come and he really enjoys being in this area. He loves the club, feels comfortable living here and was comfortable playing for my team last year.'

With all that in place, Knill says there's no reason why Benyon can't have a good and successful season ahead of him.
