Knill Wants Tight Knit Group

Knill Wants Tight Knit Group

Alan Knill has said for next season he wants a squad of only 14/15 that he knows can perform in this league, and then presumably we'll blood players for the future.

Speaking to the press Alan didn't pull many punches in terms of admitting he believes the squad needs improvement in all areas as for him the proof of that is where we finished in the league this season, but he does believe we were carrying too large a squad and he wants to trim that down next campaign.

'I'm going to say all areas need strengthening as we finished fifth from bottom. We're going to try and work with a small squad with 14 or 15 of that squad being proper players that know about League football. Then around that we want some development players.'
