Howe Taking Responsibility

Howe Taking Responsibility

Alan Knill has said that Rene Howe is now taking responsibility for his actions on the pitch, and it hasn't meant a change in how he plays.

Speaking to the Official Site Knill said there was no need to curb Howe's naturally physical self on the pitch, he just had to wise up and cut out the silly and pointless bookings he was picking up when kicking the ball away, or dissent and although he is one card away from missing the rest of the season, Knill's pleased with the change in his attitude.

'He came close on Tuesday and he's a big player for us. We need him for the last two and it's not affected his game at all. He's still aggressive but it has helped focus on not doing the other stuff. It's good for us and we hope he does exactly the same in the next game.'
