Knill Delighted

Knill Delighted

Alan Knill couldn't hide his relief at picking up a massive three points against Barnet.

Speaking to the Official Site following the 3-2 victory, the manager said.

'We are delighted with the result and the performance, which was first class. We set out a plan to press high, win the first all and the players carried out that plan exceptionally well. We felt like we needed a goal, and all of a sudden it comes and you go into halftime at 10 after doing everything we'd asked from the players. You then ask whether they can do it again and fortunately we did.'

Knill says that although Barnet's goal did look a touch offside, he was pleased with the character the team showed to keep going and not retreat into their shells like they have done in the past.

Could be a vital three points come the end of the season.
