'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Knill Ponders Selection

Alan Knill has admitted he will have to shuffle the pack somewhat for the game against Gillingham.

With Michael Poke missing, the obvious choice is Martin Rice but the gaffer also has to contend with the unexpected departure of Joss Labadie.

Speaking to the Official Site Knill explained.

'It's no different to how we prepare for any other game. Obviously, we've lost Joss, so we'll have to adjust around that. We also know Poke isn't going to play. We have picked a shape to play against Gillingham and we will work on that. It's a blow to lose Joss because we worked hard to get him here and when you sign a player, you want him to hit the ground running and he did that, so it's a loss.'

Knill says it's something they can't complain about because thanks has to go to County for letting us loan the player in the first place, and that was a bit unexpected in itself. So once their manager Chris Kiwomya spoke to him and explained his reasons, he fully understood the recall with the player being out of contract in the summer.
