'If It's Football, It's Vital'

AFC Wimbledon 0 Torquay Utd 1

18th Sept 2012
19:45
Kingsmeadow

The pressure on Terry Brown intensified following yet another defeat for AFC Wimbledon when they lost at home to Torquay; who had themselves been languishing in the lower reaches, on Tuesday night.

Seb Brown kept Wimbledon in the game but his mistake, when his clearance went in off Rene Howe (34), saw Torquay take the lead just before the break.

The Dons tried to get back into the game in the second half but they couldn't manage it and ended the game with 10-men when Christian Jolley was sent off late on for a second bookable offence in the 1-0 defeat.
